City marathon in Hämeenlinna
The 38st Hämeenlinna City Marathon will be run on July 29th on a renewed route along the beautiful lake Vanajavesi.

There will be no refunds at all. With medical certificate you are allowed to participate next year if you are not able to run this year.
General information:
The new route runs mainly along the shores of lake Vanajavesi. The routes have been officially measured. The marathon will consist of two laps on the route. There will be refreshment stations along the route. Timing is provided by Ultimate Sports Service using bib tag. Both gross and net times will be taken. Having finished the run, runners can have a soup meal at the stadium for free.
Refreshment stations:
There will be four refreshment stations along the route. There are water cups, sports drinks and pickles at every station. In addition, there will be banana at one of the stations. If you want to have your own drinks or snacks at the stations, you can bring them to the buckets next to the race office before 1 pm. Own drinks and snacks will be transfered to the stations by the race organizers.
Venue facilities:
Changing rooms, showers and a toilet will be located in the building on the upper part of the Kauriala stadium. There are more toilets next to the kiosk. The stadium has big stands with a roof. One section of the stands is reserved for runners’ bags and the section is guarded.

1:40 pm 10 km (W, W50, M, M50)
2:00 pm Half Marathon (M, M40, M45, M50, M55, M60, M65 and W, W40, W45, W50, W55, W60, W65)
2:00 pm Marathon (M, M40, M45, M50, M55, M60, M65, M70 and W, W40, W45, W50, W55, W60, W65, W70)
Race office and distribution of race numbers:
Race office is located near/in the building at the upper part of the stadium area. You get your number and timing chip from the race office. Late registrations on the race day at least two hours before the start of the race at the race office for a higher price.
Prizes:
A medal for everyone at the finish line. Three athletes of each age group will be awarded.
